Causes We Can GOAT Behind

We love what we do, and we love our community. We want to make sure we’re doing our part so we spend time volunteering for causes that we love. We also contribute $5 from every monthly payment to charities that we support. Members can designate where the donation from their membership fee goes. Check out the charities we support.

SIRE Therapeutic Horsemanship

SIRE is a Houston-based therapeutic horsemanship group serving adults and kids with special needs. They use equine-assisted activities to help riders of all ages. The most served group is those with autism, but they also are highly experienced with individuals with other disabilities as well as veterans and their families. Some of the amazing benefits their participants experience are increased strength, better balance, positive social interactions, boosted confidence and self esteem, and much more. They do incredible work and we love supporting them. Get more information about SIRE here: https://sire-htec.org/

United Against Human Trafficking

United Against Human Trafficking (UAHT) is dedicated to ending human trafficking through preventing exploitation, educating the community, and empowering survivors. Human trafficking is a type of slavery. It exploits people for forced labor or sex for the profit or gain of someone else. The International Labour Organization estimates that about 25 million people are actively being trafficked worldwide. In the US, over half of the minor victims of sex trafficking are recruited through social media. It’s a very scary and often invisible world. UAHT aims to educate people on how to identify and prevent trafficking and serves victims directly. To learn more about the work that UAHT does, click here: https://uaht.org/

K9s for Warriors

K9s for Warriors helps connect veterans with Service Dogs. Their focus is PTSD and traumatic brain injury and their goal is to help impacted veterans regain independence with the help of a trained Service Dog. One of the extra cool things about this group is that most of their dogs are rescues or owner surrenders. K9s for Warriors not only provides a hugely valuable service to veterans, but they also are saving dogs’ lives in the process. Even better, K9s for Warriors has helped start a number of other programs for veterans. Get more information here: https://k9sforwarriors.org/
